● 今日のポイント １ 「must の使い方」 must にはいろんな使い方があります。 義務・命令の意味 「〜しなければならない」 禁止の意味 「〜してはいけない」 必然性の意味 「〜に違いない」 本文では必然性の意味で使われています。ですから、 「その老人は彼女が来るのを自分の墓の中で待っているに違いなかった」と なります。無気味ですねえ。
